We are ready for World Challenge Sports Car Wars at Mid-Ohio, rounds 8 and 9
Rounds 8 and 9, back to back races of the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge are about to happen this week end August 6 and 7th at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. I love this event, 125,000 people on grassy knolls, drinking a cool one and watching Sports Car Wars from World Challenge, the Indy Racing League and American Lemans. If you love road racing, this is an incredible event. But it's not all ooh and aaawe for Woodhouse Racing. We came to work, (some of you may not call it that), there are a couple of Dodge Vipers that need to be up front and that takes more than you want to hear about. I do hope you have been following the slaughter we are experiencing on our quest for the Championship. If not you could catch up by backtracking on the site here or www.world-challenge.com. We have had some good success too; now it is time to combine our efforts with some luck. This is where you and the Viper Nation come in. There is no better way to bring us luck, than attending, cheering, following us on twitter, facebook and being a Dodge lover. OK, about keeping up, we are fighting for a GT Championship against Volvo, Corvette, Porsche, Nissan and others. Kuno Wittmer; driver of the #13 car is second in points with Jeff Courtney in 9th. Can't stress enough how hard they have both worked to be there. But it is time for a bit of luck, these guys are talented drivers, no question, so are another two dozen guys in this series. Bring us your support, even if it is putting www.viperheadquarters.com in your browser favorites so you can check it often. Need another teaser? Here is an example of what happens when you get involved in the Viper Nation and come to World Challenge events. Back at Long Beach a Dodge dealer got involved in the Grand Prix festivities and before he could leave he said "Bob, let's make a World Challenge Edition Viper ACR for the street". This is the result of that conversation:
Two of these are our Competition Coupe race cars and two are 640hp street going bad boys licensed by World Challenge. Send an email for details bobwoodhouse@woodhouseperformance.com and I will hook you up.
Thanks for taking your precious time to follow this. Bob Woodhouse
